How to launch an OTT channel in 14 days

Most operators we talk to assume launching an OTT channel takes six months. It doesn't have to. The two-week launch path is a function of three decisions, made early.

Day 1–3 — Lock the stack

Pick your platforms (we recommend starting with Roku + iOS + Web), confirm your monetization model (SVOD, AVOD or hybrid), and provision your CMS via Push Core. Skip the temptation to ship to every platform at once — get one TV app right, then fan out.

Day 4–7 — Brand & content

Your designer hands over a logo, color palette and a 20-second bumper. Our team configures the UI templates, loads your library into the CMS and schedules your first 24-hour linear loop in Moxy Play. Captions, ratings, and ad break markers go in this week.

Day 8–11 — Store submission

Roku and Fire TV approval is the longest path, so submit by day 8 with our pre-approved app templates. iOS and Android are typically same-day. Web app deploys to your domain with a one-click DNS update.

Day 12–14 — Soft launch

Run a closed beta with 50–200 subscribers, validate playback on real devices in real homes, and watch the analytics dashboard for buffering or auth issues. Hard launch on day 14.

The whole thing fits in 14 calendar days because nothing requires custom engineering. The platform already exists — you're configuring, not building.
